Please join me and Webster's Wackos in the fight to defeat Parkinson's
As you know, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's 2 years ago. With support from Kathleen, a regular exercise routine, and a great doctor I have coped well with my situation. I also have benefited from Parkinson's research, having been a part of an 18-month study of a new drug called Rasagiline. Additionally, I am taking another new drug that has allowed me to write again.
Research is expensive, but it is making a difference in treatment options and hopefully moving us closer to finding a cure.
Please support us in this goal. You can help by joining us as a walker on April 19, and by considering making an additional contribution, beyond the $25 registration fee if possible. If you are comfortable with it and enthusiastic about it, you can ask family and friends to sponsor you as well.
If you cannot join us for the Parkinson's Walk, please consider making a donation to the PDA through our team. Every dollar helps get us one step closer to a cure that affects 1.5 million men and women in the U.S.
